THE BASICS OF AVIENTS POLICIES ON HOW FUNDS ARE MANAGED WITHIN THE ALLIANCE.
Before getting into this document you should learn the types of funding Avient manages, receives, or does not manage. Direct are projects directly run by Avient and will go into Avients funds, this includes projects such as AvientONE. Separate are projects not directly run by Avient but are still somewhat managed by it. Separate projects manage their own funds and are not distributed into the Avient Group. Disjoint is basically a separate but are expected/likely to be fully independent from Avient and its control in the future.
Avient cannot distribute or waste any group funds unless permitted by a majority winning vote by Avient allies. Avient's board cannot override any nay majority votes nor can they abuse revotes. Board is allowed to host a meeting/voting to commit a revoting but as stated before, it cannot be abused multiple times and can be capped if deemed necessary by Avient head/ownership and allies.
All "direct" project funds shall go into the Avient funding ecosystem controlled by the distribution policy once received, failure to do so can receive a suspension, disbandment, and or department reformation in the form of Ally, Board, and Ownership voting. "Separate" may owe a percentage toward Avient, which would follow the same policies as to where "direct" project funds must go. For the rest of the funds, they shall be spent responsibly and reasonably as so long they're under/managed as an Avient Project. Failure to abide may lead also lead to suspension, disbandment, and or department reformation in the form of Ally, Board, and Ownership voting; but if Avient does not take priority in management the group may or be completely disjoint from Avient. "Disjoint" projects follow the same policy as "separate" projects until they disband from being an Avient Project.
All funds should be used fairly and carefully, they shall never be recklessly spent. All Avient and "direct" project funds must follow the Distribution Policy under fair use; this being for the majority of funding Avient-Ran projects including but not limited to, Ally Funding Assistance (AFA). "Separate" and "Disjoint" projects are expected to follow the same policies-including the funding percentage not sent to the Avient Roblox Group to secure the trust between members and allies with what their spent Robux is headed towards.
Under the LFH Act, by voting of Avient Board, it can be declared when funds are too low to be spent for any project. Under "emergency", "priority", or "necessary" need; voting with allies can be done to have funds spent. Whenever this occurs, allies can also trigger a vote to have the LFH Pause/Act revoked if active. Otherwise; allies have the right once at the first assembly of any month to request all statistics (current funds, income, loss) and then vote on whether the LFH Pause/Act shall be suspended or continued. If the majority passes, Avient Board cannot push the LFH Act until the next month or declare an "emergency" voting to override if and only if funds are too low to support any projects/funding and there isn't enough income coming into the Avient group to override it.
All the policies above have been voted on and approved by allies on the week of Feburary 11ths 2023 assembly votings.
